Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
